EXHAUSTO counter flow heat exchangers with capacities of up to 5,400 m3/h
EXHAUSTO's counter flow heat exchanger range has been extended to include two new units: the VEX350 and VEX360Tougher requirements regarding energy consumption
Legislation about to come into force in Denmark will impose tougher restrictions on energy consumption in buildings. EXHAUSTO has therefore developed a solution that significantly reduces energy consumption for moving air, especially during periods where there is little or no need for heating.
Optimised air ducts
The design principle is that the unheated air bypasses the exchanger via two modulating by-pass dampers. In a typical building, graduated modulation will begin from temperatures as low as 5° C. This will mean reduced pressure loss in many operating situations, with a consequent impact on annual energy consumption. The VEX350 and VEX360, with their high level of temperature efficiency and low SFP, will be able to meet the stringent requirements of the new Danish BR2010 regulations now and far into the future.
Other well-known advantages
Like other EXHAUSTO units, the VEX350 and VEX360 are of compact design and are fitted with EXstream low-noise fan impellers and fans suspended on vibration dampers. In addition, the counter flow exchanger units are equipped with a unique system that avoids icing inside the exchanger, operated completely automatically through the internal control systems of the units.
The VEX350 and VEX360 meet the requirements of the German hygiene standard VDI 6022, which means among other things that there is very easy access for servicing and cleaning the units.
The units are fitted with the new EXact control system - a new generation in control systems which features large colour graphic display, integrated web server and Modbus communication. The VEX350 and VEX360 are also fitted with a fuse system that makes installation cheaper. Power can be easily switched off for service checks, since the units have the main switch fitted on the unit itself.
